Back in 2015 we went on a little adventure to the darkest depths of Bali and Java. The main goal was to score one of Java’s best slab’s, line up some new Slut caps to be made by the friends we made in Java last time, and most importantly, once the other goals were ticked off, go on some almighty benders in Bali. Needless to say we did a cracking job on all 3 counts.
Alex was so frothing on the trip he invested in a new top of the range GoPro to document it all. However in classic Cornish reprobate style, it didn’t quite go to plan… On the biggest swell that came through in Java, we lucked in and scored a pumping world class left all to ourselves, unfortunately though, Alex took a massive beating and when he surfaced, his camera was gone, and despite many a snorkle session around the channel we never saw the fucker again, or the footage on it’s card. No doubt a local fisherman will find it one day though. So this video only really captures a couple of weeks after he managed to find a new GoPro in Bali, most of which the surf was shit, hence the amount of fucking around. Gives you a little taste of the chaos though.
We’ll be heading back out to Indo again soon, with some big new plans on the cards so watch this space.
